Heavy Lifting Engineer (Superintendent/Crane) - Zambia

A vacancy for a Heavy Lift Engineer currently exists with this employer. You would report directly to the Plant Site Construction Manager and be responsible for all the heavy lifting equipment and for directing the support engineering staff. You will be professionally certified and bring your knowledge of crane set ups, lift plans and lifting gear designation and configuration and rigging studies along with your experience in the mining industry to add to the success of this exciting project.

This project is taking place in Zambia.

Requirements
Tertiary degree with an engineering specialization
Experience in a similar mining or heavy industrial environment planning and supervising
Experience directing a large site team
Experience with setting up cranes, verifying distances, lifting gear designation, configuration and rigging studies to support the lifting schedules
Rigging experience
Experience dealing with Manitowoc, Hydraulic Grove equipment
Must be professional certified for crane lift responsibility
