CA Global: Engineering and Construction (Africa Positions) has a client who is a leader in their field and known the world over, looking for a resourceful Mechanical Engineer with experience in a port environment to join their team in Liberia.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for planning and testing of equipment at the port.
- Oversee the installation, operation and maintenance of mechanical machinery.
- Conduct feasibility research into new designs, operations and performance of machinery.
- Recommendations on design modifications to stop machinery from malfunctioning.
- Ensure environment-related norms and procedures are complied with for the protection of the environment.
- The health and safety of in-house and outsourced teams shall be secured through effective preventive and corrective actions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in the mechanical engineering of machinery used in a port environment.
- A minimum of 10 years professional experience.
- A tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering.
- Licensed professionals will receive preference.
