CA Global: Engineering and Construction (Mining Projects) has a client, a fast growing organisation focused on developing and operating mines, looking for a talented Earthworks Superintendent. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- Monitor project progress to ensure time and budget constraints as well as quality standards are adhered too.
- Possess a full understanding of contractual obligations.
- Determine workforce requirements.
- Insure that all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures are complied to.
- Coordinate the mobilization & demobilization of resources.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have Trade Qualifications/BSc/HND in Civil Engineering.
- 10 - 15 years professional experience in heavy civil construction industry.
- Previous experience in a Superintendent role and knowledge of construction costs and budgets.
- Risk identifying skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
