CA Global: Engineering and Construction has a client looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience in Building projects, particularly in the construction of cement water tanks for wastewater treatment plants. This position will be based in Uganda
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the project is delivered within the specified timeframe and within budget
Represent the interest of the client at all levels
Attend site meetings
Provide independent professional advice and guidance
Ensure prescribed quality standards are adhered to
Ensure HSE requirements are fulfilled
REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least a BSc. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Must have 15+ years experience.
Experience in cement construction
Experience on wastewater treatment plant projects, particularly the construction of the cement tanks
Ability to communicate effectively (speak and write) in English.
African experience is highly advantageous
Ability to work in multicultural environment.
Health, Safety and Environment awareness and/or management.
Possessing drive and ability to work to tight time-targets.
Ability to co-ordinate various construction activities at a time.
