Hot Job: Port Manager (Port Operations) - Liberia

CA Global: Engineering and Construction (Africa Positions) has a client that is in need of a Port Operations Manager. The position will be based in Liberia.

Overview:

The successful candidate will have the responsibility of overseeing operations at the port and will have a number of subordinates reporting to them.

Extensive port operations experience (operations and maintenance) is important, we are looking for someone with strong ability to help build a team, strong focus on results, ability to work in emerging markets and upskill, train and develop employees. 

Any experience in project management and construction of ports is very advantageous in particular being able to effectively work with the EPCM provider to the project deadlines, in line with the scope.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree/qualification and certification/accreditation as a Port Operations Manager.
• At least 10 - 15 years of Port Operations experience.
• Previous experience as a Port Operations Manager will be highly advantageous
