Hot Job: Mechanical Technician (Maintenance/Heavy Duty Equipment) - Djibouti

CA Global: Building and Construction (Africa Positions) has a client looking for a Mechanical Technician with good experience dealing with heavy duty equipment to become the Vice-head of the maintenance warehouse. This position will be based in Djibouti.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect machinery to ensure it is in good running order
• Make necessary repairs to equipment and machinery as required
• Troubleshoot the machine to determine what repairs are necessary
• Procure the required parts to make repairs
• If required make emergency repairs when a machine breaks down during operation
• Conduct the inventory and order the most commonly used mechanical components

Requirements:

• Technical certification
• 5 - 10 years relevant experience in a similar role
• A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory position
• Must be fluent in either English or French
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong problem solving skills
