Hot Job: Project Manager (Mining/Concentrator Plant) - Liberia

CA Global: Engineering and Construction (Mining Positions) has a client that is in need of a Project Manager, reporting to the Project Director, with experience in building concentrator plants. The project will be based in Liberia.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver detailed engineering phase including all drawings, estimations, timings, suppliers etc
Deliver project implementation including all aspects of EPCM and commissioning process to ensure that timelines, costs and capacity requirements are met
Effectively monitor and lead the project to ensure that it is monitored and tracked against the key performance indicators through all project stages
Provide guidance and support direct project team and Liberian management team to ensure achievement of the project
Develop on-going relationships with various government officials, partners and institutions and in-country stakeholders to ensure completion of the project

REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in engineering with at least 10 years international experience in project management and execution.
Extensive experience in iron ore projects and prior experience in concentrator start-up projects is a must.
Ability to successfully manage major projects, develop processes and control mechanisms for optimization of project activity.
Solid understanding of all issues - commercial, technical, financial, legal and administrative - related to project management.
