CA Global: Construction and Engineering (Port Infrastructure) has a client looking for a Marine Works Site Superintendent with experience in Marine Building Projects. This position will be based in Morocco .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and lead a group of workers, crane operators and divers.
- Responsible for the supervision of the placement of prefabricated concrete blocks by cranes operating from elevated platforms or barges.
- Responsible for the operation of the barge, following the instructions received by the Project Manager.
- Candidates must communicate well with the Project Manager and report daily on the progress of works.
- Responsible for the security on board the barge,
- Responsible for ‘Toolbox Talks´, security exercises and ‘Pre Task Briefings´.
- Must ensure that all personnel on board are aware of security and environmental rules.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Marine Works Construction (quay walls, jetties etc)
- Tertiary degree/certificate in Offshore and/or Maritime Operations.
- At least 6 - 8 years of experience within marine construction projects.
- Fluent in the English language
- Fluency in French is a must
- Knowledge of Arabic would be advantageous
- You are willing to work abroad.
