Hot Job: Senior Projects Manager (Building/Concrete Plant) - Tanzania

CA Global: Engineering and Construction has a client looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience in Building projects, particularly Cement Plant projects. This position will be based in Tanzania.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the project is delivered within the specified timeframe and within budget
• Represent the interest of the client at all levels
• Attend site meetings
• Provide independent professional advice and guidance
• Ensure prescribed quality standards are adhered to
• Ensure HSE requirements are fulfilled
• Maintain all records of expenditure, accounting, costing and billing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least a BSc. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• More than 10 years experience.
• Experience in the construction of cement plants
• Ability to communicate effectively (speak and write) in English.
• At least 5 years Project Management experience on building projects
• African experience is essential
• Ability to work in multicultural environment.
• Health, Safety and Environment awareness and/or management.
• Possessing drive and ability to work to tight time-targets.
• Ability to co-ordinate various construction activities at a time.
