CA Global: Construction and Engineering (Building Projects) has a client looking for a Construction Manager with experience in marine works projects. This position will be based in the Middle East.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for management, development and planning of one or more activities of a Marine Works construction site.
Responsible for organizing the construction activities as far as logistics, materials and site personnel are concerned.
Direct project delivery in a way that minimizes disruption of ongoing operations.
Responsible for planning resources.
Implement and oversee the ISO & VCA standards.
Select, audit and supervise subcontractors.
Maintain regular contact with the customers or their representatives.
Attend important site meetings.
Report directly to the Project Manager or your Head Construction Manager on progress
Requirements:
Tertiary Masters degree in Construction Engineering.
At least 10 years of relevant experience within large international marine construction projects, preferably abroad.
Fluent in English.
Knowledge of Dutch or French will be an advantage.
Effective problem solver.
Willing to work abroad.
